My niece just had her first birthday, and I decided it was about time she had her very own batmobile. It doubles as a convertible!

I saw a few of these floating around the net a couple years ago and knew someday I would have to make one. So I bought a Cozy Coupe from a local consignment shop, and decided to go all out instead of just putting the logo on the side. It was a fun little project!

…is that photoshopped? It looks photoshopped

When you zoom in as close as you can in hi-res, you can see the paint strokes where they hand-painted the logo! 8> it’s reeeeaaaal

Haha, yeah. Not photoshopped, I just suck at spray painting. I took photos of the entire process, but I figured they were too boring to post. Maybe I should have anyway.

Well, yes, I suppose I AM a pretty cool neighbor. You’re pretty cool too for reblogging this. <3

Now, time for the full size car!

On donating to a cause

You know when you’re at a grocery store and they ask you to donate to heart health or juvenile diabetes or homeless pets and ask you to put your name on the little heart or sneaker or puppy cut-out to hang in the window? I always put the name of a famous serial killer. Thank you, John Wayne Gacy, for donating to leukemia research!

I do this, except I always put Vin Diesel. Half the time I don’t even realize until I’m done writing. It’s fun to see the look on the cashiers face when I quickly scribble Vin’s name and then casually pass it back to them.

Here’s an edit I did of First of May by Jonathan Coulton a few years ago. Mostly he just swears a lot more.

Explicit warning: There’s roughly 75 F-bombs in this, so you probably shouldn’t listen to it at work.

ALTERED VERSION OF PREVIOUS POST, ALSO VERY IMPORTANT

Ha, I just logged in and the first thing I saw on my dash was 20+ notes from this. Apparently it is May 1st. : )
